Plain answers before you upgrade
The checkout button calls Milao's existing payment endpoint. If Stripe is configured, you will be sent to Stripe Checkout. If not, the current test environment may activate simulated Premium.
When live Stripe billing is connected, subscription management should be handled through Stripe or the account billing flow. During simulated Premium testing, no real card charge is made by Milao.
Keeping email and phone exchange behind Premium reduces spam pressure and keeps early conversations inside Milao until both people have shown stronger intent.
Milao does not expose your email, phone number, or contact details to another member. You choose what to type in chat, and contact-like text is blocked for free accounts.
Premium is not a safety guarantee. Keep early conversations in Milao, report suspicious behavior, and only share contact details when you feel comfortable.
